If you do not delete any of the Basic tables listed further down, you probably won’t need to reinstall WordPress. Any posts you had on the main site will also be preserved. - delete or empty all the following network tables
- wp_blogs
- wp_blog_versions
- wp_registration_log
- wp_signups
- wp_site
- wp_sitecategories
- wp_sitemeta
- wp_users
- wp_usermeta
- optionally remove any/all wp_#_xxxxx ie. wp_2_xxxx…, wp_3_xxxx…, etc.
then follow how to create a network, which cautions your single site must be setup the way you want it BEFORE installing the network.
